AGELESS BEAUTY of the VINTAGE KIND at the Playdate Date Cafe

Hi everyone,
Lately I have been doing a little research on the Vintage Era, and I must say the costumes and lifestyle were truly elegant. I bought a scrapbook at the newsagent called Down Memory Lane and the pictures were breathtaking. Then I found  this beautiful picture of a lady and thought I'd use it for the Playdate Cafe Challenge,  and thanks to Julie Campbell (who came up with the vintage theme), and who is sadly leaving..I made this card as a little goodbye.
Here is the picture I chose for the card from the Scrapbook:
And here is the card I made with this picture

I used a technique called Essential Oil transfer..I read this in a magazine a while ago and whilst cleaning out my bathroom cupboard I found some jasmine oil so I thought I would put it to the test..and it worked out beautifully..The technique gave the picture an almost ghost like image. Then I stamped the image with swirls and used diamond stickler to add some dimension, also added some little flowers, lace, stamped old fashioned clock and then finished it with the sentiment "TIMELESS"

Here's a closeup for a better look.
And just a note: When using the this technique, not only does it give your card a new look but it smells heavenly!
Hope you all have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!!
