Acrylic Background and Embellishments for Fairy Tag /ATC Tutorial

Good Morning Everyone,
For today's tutorial on how to embellish the tags I chose a simple fairy design. Just a Note: {I forgot to mention earlier about the size of the tag I used, they are little bigger than an actual ATC card.  I cut the card stock at 4" by 21/2" but depending on whether you want to make an ATC card you can adjust the size}.

I cut the glossy white card stock to size and chose Jo Sonja's Pacific Blue and Brilliant Violet paints for my background. (You can choose any colour you like)

With the pacific blue paint I stippled it on the card stock at random.

Keep in mind, I sponged the violet on to the card stock, while the blue paint  was wet to get a more even effect. {This way it blends a lot better}

 Then I let it dry completely..it doesn't take long (about 1/2 hour) and then cut it down to size

I then sponged the edges of the tag with a shimmery blue ink pad and stamped some images from the Inkadinkado Fairy collection. I then embossed it with some clear embossing powder. Choose another colour card stock (I chose purple) to put behind the tag and cut it to size.

 For the embellishments, I chose some glitter stickers (The word "F" for fairy is what I wanted to use), some Kaiser craft Lavender rhinestones and a Tinkerbell silhouette I cut out on my Craft Robo 3 machine. I actually sponged the fairy with black ink and then heat embossed it with clear powder.

So,with all the embellishments I arranged them on the  tag. Then added a little blue flower with a tiny mauve brad, and wrote the word "Believe" with a white gel pen.
As you see it was very simple to make, and with a bit of  imagination you can create some fantastic designs on acrylic painted backgrounds..
The world's your oyster !
 Lynn :)
