Daring CardMarkers - Russian Challenge

Greetings,

What a wonderful challenge this week (my second attempt) for a card. I couldn't decide what to do, so I incorporated 3 elements for this Russian theme. I chose the matryoshka dolls as my background, and then transformed a photo of beautiful architectural buildings into a sketch, and printed it on acetate. And for my sentiment I thought of the movie "To Russia with Love", seemed a nice touch to finish off the card. Anyway keep those challenges coming, because I really enjoy participating in them. Gets the old creative juices flowing :)

Cheers!!

I love the way that the colours are so vivid on this card. Printing the image on acetate is a great idea

This is lovely, you've chosen a similar image to one I looked at for a long time trying to think whether I could use it on my card. I love how you've combined the image and the little dolls too - double points for getting two very Russian elements onto one card lol
