HI EVERYONE
I've had such a busy morning and now things have settled down a little I managed to make another Sweet Pea card (I just adore the images of Sweet Peas). I bought the two patterned papers this morning from my favourite store SCRAPPERS WAREHOUSE and I wasn't sure whether they would go together but I think they have...
I found some really unusual gold metal ribbon and the top from a gold tassel I had hidden away in my craft stash, so I added them to the card too. The swirls I dotted, were from light gold liquid pearls. I was going to add some flowers but I thought maybe it would a little too much. And for the sentiment I used a cork backed embellishment, which I thought blended in nicely.
I love the versatility of Sweet Pea stamps because they can be used for any occasion...and colouring them with copics is just a dream...
And now with the card completed, I will add it to the following challenge sites:

So lovely - great oriental style (gorgeous ribbon) - and I think you're right, doesn't need anything else, flowers would probably have been too much...
