Crazy for Challenges - Bird Crazy

Well I'm Back!

I have to say,  I really did take advantage of another day off (that makes 3 out of 5) and put it to fabulous crafting use..This is card is number 2 for the day and it's for the CRAZY FOR CHALLENGES challenge and it is all about Kraft..I must admit I do or did  prefer to use other coloured or patterned papers, but after making this card with Kraft, I have now become a fan,  I intend using it more often :)

I not only made a card, I also thought it would nice to create an envelope to go with it. I made the envelope using my SCORE PAL and trust me when I say you should never be without one.

Here is my card and envelope made from Kraft card stock..

How I made this card: I stamped the image straight onto the Kraft card stock and then stamped the birds on white card stock. I cut the birds out separately, coloured them in with copic markers and then glued them to the stamped image. I added some Autumn FLOWERSOFT (Love the stuff but a little tricky to use)

and for the envelope I used the same principle and  stamped the sentiment "fly" to the back.

And because the card is a little plain you could use it for a variety of occasions...
